Milan is the second largest city in Italy but has the largest urban area. One of the most famous fashion capitals in Europe, Milan is also host to many important international fairs and events. Thanks to its important museums, theaters, and landmarks Milan is a popular city to visit. The city is the site of the fourth largest cathedral in world, one of the most complex and important Gothic structures in the world, and also to the famous “Santa Maria delle Grazie” church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can see Da Vinci’s “Last Supper”. The church attracts more than two million visitors annually. Tickets for the “Last Supper” must be purchased ahead of time and a guided tour is necessary, so don’t forget to let us know if you would like this option.Vital and bustling, there is much to see and experience in Milan. Our professional, English-speaking driver will pick you up directly at your accommodation with a luxury vehicle and take you to visit Milan’s beautiful monuments. Start with a visit to the amazing Cathedral of Milan, this “Duomo” built between 1386 and 1577 and hosting an amazing collection of marble statues. Continue with a visit to the Castello Sforzesco and its elegant Renaissance court. This was once the residence of Milan’s ruling family and is now a museum. What is now a park surrounding the castle, was once a hunting ground. There are many parks in Milan. The Parco Sempione is one of the largest and is a perfect place for a picnic lunch. If you want to splurge, have your driver take you to one of Milan’s famous restaurants like Cracco, Vun, or La Cupola. There is an enormous selection of eateries in all price ranges in Milan.
Stroll through the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II towards the world famous theater La Scala. Milan has elegant, pleasant architecture and is also a shoppers’ paradise. Have your driver take you to the Via Montenapoleone where all the designer shops are located or if you’d rather soak up more culture, visit the Accademia of Fine Arts of Brera that houses some of the world’s masterpieces by Botticelli, Caravaggio, Mantegna, Da Vinci, to name a few, as well as still being an active school of art.
At the end of your tour, your driver will bring you back to your accommodation or to another place of your choice in the center of Milan.
